I hear people so often saying that moving to a hotter place like Arizona, etc helps their arthritis and fibromyalgia.

My past few weeks say "phooey" to that as we have had hot weather and I have been in constant flares. Yesterday at a luncheon of 11 women, 3 others were feeling the very same as I. I don't know the answer but I don't think that is it.

Have you ever felt a difference when you have been somewhere else than your home area? I'm curious to know.

Hi carol~ I notice flares alot as the seasons change, especially summer into fall, the cooler nights really bring on flareups, but at the same time, I get them when its hot too!

Hi Carol,
Funny that you mention this in your post. I was away at my in-laws for about a week and had no problems. However, when I arrived back home I began having some of the symptoms. It had been a very stressful week so I just figured it was because I was back home and in my element and as I got relaxed I figured I must have been coming down off of an "adrenaline high". Not truly sure why it happens though.

I was so happy to discover your blog. I am 39 years old and was diagnosed with fibro 2.5 years ago. I feel like an old women most of the time and it really irritates and frustrates me. I have alot of flare when it is humid or damp. Right now it is very humid and everything aches like uncontrolable tooth ache. Clare
